Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order. If 30 days have passed since delivery, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your book must be:
- Unused and in the same condition as received (no writing, highlighting, torn pages, or damaged covers)
- In its original packaging (if applicable, e.g., shrink-wrapped box sets)
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Digital books (e-books): Once downloaded, e-books are non-refundable.
- Personalized/custom items: Signed books, inscribed copies, or custom-bound books (unless defective).
- Gift cards: Gift cards for skylebrown.online are non-refundable.
A receipt or proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email) is required to process your return. Do not send books back to the publisher—all returns must be sent to our designated address (listed below).
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in the following cases:
- Books with obvious signs of use (e.g., writing, highlighting, bent pages, or scuffed covers)
- Books returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Books damaged after delivery (for reasons not caused by our shipping error)
Refund Processing
- Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will email you to confirm receipt.
- We will notify you via email if your refund is approved or rejected.
- Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Double-check your bank account or payment app (processing times vary by provider).
- Contact your credit card company—refunds may take 2–3 billing cycles to post.

Sale Items
Only regularly priced books may be refunded. Sale or clearance-priced books are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We only replace books if they are defective (e.g., missing pages, printing errors) or damaged during shipping. To exchange a book for the same title:

Gift Returns
- If the book was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you: You will receive a skylebrown.online gift credit for the return value once the item is received.
- If the gift was shipped to the giver first: We will refund the gift giver, and they will be notified of the return.
Return Shipping
To return your book:
- Mail the item to the address listed in the “Exchanges” section above.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong book, defective item). Shipping costs are non-refundable, and will be deducted from your refund if applicable.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service (we are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged return packages).
